EmendaKit Anaphylaxis – Dental

An anaphylaxis kit developed for dental clinics, where acute allergic reactions can occur during treatment. The kit is built on the same robust solution and systematic design as other EmendaKit kits, adapted to dental services. The flowchart is shaped by situations that can arise in the clinic, with a clear focus on rapid identification and immediate treatment with adrenaline. Ready for use directly in the treatment room — with quick access to equipment and overview when it matters.

The dental clinic’s needs

Anaphylaxis can occur in a dental clinic as a result of various substances used in treatment, such as local anaesthesia, latex and other materials. EmendaKit is built on the same robust kit and systematic design as EmendaKit Anaphylaxis – Healthcare, but with a flowchart adapted to dental services. The flowchart is shaped for situations in the dental clinic, with a clear focus on rapid identification and immediate treatment with adrenaline. In a situation where it may take time before an ambulance arrives, the right equipment and structure — available immediately — is critical.

Prepared for the treatment room

The kit is developed for use directly in the treatment room, with quick access to equipment and a clear overview when it matters. Everything is organised to support rapid and correct action in an acute situation.

Questions and answers

Are the medications included with the kit?

No. The kit is delivered without medications. Adrenaline, antihistamine and corticosteroid are usually ordered through your hospital or clinic pharmacy. The kit is delivered ready to use, with a fitted insert, the national anaphylaxis flowchart and a QR code linking to training films. For larger orders, EmendaKit can support dialogue with the hospital pharmacy to facilitate a coordinated delivery.

How are expiry dates handled?

Each medication pack has its own expiry date. On the front of the kit there is a dedicated "Next check" field, where a label with the next check date can be attached. This makes it easy to maintain an overview and ensure that medications remain within their valid shelf life at all times.

Can we order in volume?

Yes. We offer a volume discount when ordering multiple units. Get in touch for a quote based on numbers and needs.

Can several clinics order together?

Yes. The volume discount applies when ordering multiple units. It can be useful to coordinate orders across clinics or within the same organisation.

Where is the kit produced?

The EmendaKit kits are designed and developed in Norway, and produced in collaboration with Fosen Tools — an experienced Norwegian industrial manufacturer with high expertise in robust solutions.

How do we get training in using the kit?

Each kit is equipped with a QR code that gives access to two short training films. One film shows how the kit is structured and how the equipment is organised. The other gives a practical walkthrough of how anaphylaxis is managed when meeting a patient. The films are short, clear and easily accessible — usable both for advance training and as support when needed.

How much space does the kit take in a treatment room?

The kit measures 251 × 142 × 67 mm externally. It fits most drawers, and can also be wall-mounted with the included holder.
